Mudpuppy Recordings is a one-person label
 dedicated to roots music preservation,
 starting with Delta blues. 

     Current Mudpuppy projects include a 
 T-Model Ford CD entitled "jack daniel time", featuring T-Model's only solo acoustic recordings to date, as well as performances with an all-star band. Says Sing Out! Magazine: “Mudpuppy [Recordings] ‘was started with the express purpose of capturing studio-quality field recordings by genuine roots music veterans.’ They hit the nail square on the head with this debut release.”     

     Mudpuppy is also a partner in producing a new documentary about true bluesmen still performing in the Delta entitled “M for Mississippi”, which is nominated for a  Blues Music Award.  Living Blues Magazine says “[M for Mississippi] has to rank high among the most important blues events of 2008.”

Mudpuppy recognizes that authentic blues is a small market requiring those who wish to preserve it to work together.
